Crossover has produced a series of archive led films. A collaboration between archive holders, filmmakers and musicians, the films are designed to be watched but also experienced through live events with the band.
Starting with From the Sea to the Land Beyond which took 100 years of coastal footage edited together by Penny Woolcock with a score from British Sea Power Crossover has now produced a host of fantastic films exploring the history of topics from the circus to steel production.
The films have been hosted at a range of international film and music festivals as well as being screened as one off events such as a showing of The Show of Shows at MoMA. They have also been broadcast and a number have seen theatrical release.
We also produce immersive content such as the BBC’s first VR commission Easter Rising: Voice of a Rebel and the emotionally responsive RIOT! prototype.
