February-June UK wide
(bursaries available)

Deadline 20th February

If you’re working on a cross platform or interactive project, Crossover Labs is offering mentoring to 5 projects to help bring them to market.

Whether your project is in early planning stages or you’ve nearly completed the project and are looking to form a roll out plan Crossover Labs team of mentors will be able to take your project to the next level.

As part of the mentoring you’ll receive:

Hands on mentoring sessions

Crossover Labs director and former cross platform commissioner for Channel 4 Mark Atkin will work with you in 2 2-day sessions between March and May to help you devise, develop and deliver your cross platform project. We will select a second mentor for your project based on your needs – if you’re looking for financing we’ll select someone with deep knowledge of funding for cross media, but if its marketing and roll out advice you need we’ll bring in someone to help you identify and reach your target audience.

Crossover Market Application*

The Crossover Market is one of the UK’s primary marketplaces for funding cross platform projects. Taking place at Interactive at Sheffield as part of Sheffield Doc/Fest in June, we’ll guide you through the application form, offering advice on what to include and how best to fund your project. Should your application be successful you’ll pitch your project in match made 1 to 1 meetings with funders of cross platform projects and receive guidance from the Crossover Market team on what funders will be looking for. Should your application not be successful we’ll instead create a guide to alternative funding opportunities at Interactive at Sheffield including live pitches, round tables and networking opportunities.

Sheffield Doc/Fest Accreditation

As part of the mentoring you’re receive a ticket for Sheffield Doc/Fest, the home of Interactive at Sheffield. Interactive at Sheffield is a weekend of talks, parties and funding opportunities for cross platform projects and we’ll give you a road map to follow in order to get the most benefit out of the festival for you and your project.

The deadline for applications is 6pm Friday 20th February.

In the week following we will inform you if you have been accepted on to programme and will be in touch to complete payment and to discuss your availability between February and June. We do not have set dates for the mentoring and can be flexible around your schedule.

Anyone applying must also complete the Diversity Monitoring Form downloadable here and send to
