*Submissions for Sheffield Doc/Fest have now closed*
Submissions for Sheffield Doc/Fest 2015 are now open and we want your interactive projects.
The Interactive at Sheffield strand of Doc/Fest, which is co-produced by Crossover, is searching for the best factual interactive pieces out there. The final selection will be shown at the Interactive at Sheffield Exhibition which will run for the entire length of the festival (5th – 10th June) and will be open to the public as well as industry delegates. This is a fantastic opportunity to have your work reach a wide audience whilst also engaging with others working in the same creative space.
Projects last year ranged from web based documentaries to games, encompassing projects on smart phones, tablets, computers, virtual reality and even a blind folded sensory experience (read the full 2014 Interactive at Sheffield programme here). So whatever it is, we want to hear about it.
Projects which featured at the Interactive Exhibition at Doc/Fest last year went on to feature highly in the festival survey of delegates most memorable moments and have since visited a number of other notable festivals and venues. After submitting and exhibiting his virtual reality documentary Assent last year, Oscar Raby won the Interactive Audience Award and has been in high demand ever since, recently returning to the UK to lead our Oculus Rift hack in Liverpool.
